Stefanie Drucker made Zimtschnecken (cinnamon rolls).

Ingredients for the dough:
Yeast, 550g flour, 0.25l milk, 200g butter, 150g sugar, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, 1 pkg vanilla sugar, 1ts cardamom, a little bit of salt and lemon zest

Ingredients for Stef’s special filling:
Grinded dark chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, grinded nuts, butter

Make dough and let it rest for about half an hour, so the yeast can work and the dough gets bigger.
Mix up the filling inbetween, melt some extra butter in a bowl and prepare a pan with baking paper.

Afterwards seperate it in 2 halfs, roll each half out until it becomes a big rectangle.
Put the filling onto each dough and roll them in. Cut the big rolls in slices of 3-4cm. Take each slice, dip it in melted butter and press it a little bit flat when putting it into the pan. Put all the slices next to each other.

Heat your oven to 180-200°C and put the pan with the cinnamon rolls in for 30-40min.
